Digital Sculpture Projects

This section of my portfolio highlights a unique branch of my career as an Art Director, where I ventured into the world of digital sculpting. I was responsible for designing and sculpting various statues using advanced 3D programs such as Blender, Maya, ZBrush, and Modo.

Working from concept art and sketches provided by talented artists, I meticulously modeled and sculpted each piece, ensuring they were production-ready for 3D printing. Collaborating with international suppliers, including partners in China, I oversaw the creation of these statues using both filament and resin-based 3D printing techniques.

Each statue was then hand-painted by skilled artists, bringing the designs to life. These custom, limited-edition sculptures were highly sought after by collectors, with exclusive production runs that elevated their value. The combination of cutting-edge technology and artistic craftsmanship made these projects a standout in my creative journey.

This project was developed for ATF, a renowned company specializing in custom collectibles, catering to a select group of discerning collectors. The focus of this piece was the DC Comics universe, specifically the creation of a statue depicting the iconic anti-hero speedster, Godspeed
a formidable adversary of The Flash who constantly battles to claim the title of the fastest speedster.

The design of the statue was inspired by an iconic comic book cover from The Flash series, known for its powerful visual impact. It portrays the legendary hero defeated and subdued by Godspeed after an epic battle. This dramatic scene, filled with dynamic tension, was meticulously brought to life through the statue's detailed sculpting and composition.

From the initial concept to the final digital sculpt, I worked to capture the essence of this intense rivalry and the striking narrative from the comics. This custom collectible became a unique piece that resonated deeply with fans of the DC Comics universe, blending artistry and storytelling into a work of collectible art.

MINXX is an high-octane cyberpunk adventure with intense sci-fi action, badass characters, and explosive battles.

Minxx is a mercenary for hire. Her attitude is pretty much: do the job no matter how dirty, get the money, and never think about the consequences. However, one thing that Minxx isn’t is a psychotic murderer… at least, that’s what she says. In the last season, she was arrested for the murder of a law enforcement officer which she denies. Thing is? It’s caught on tape. A baffled Minxx manages to escape, and soon discovers the source of her woes when she runs into an exact replica of herself.

This personal project was an exploration of original concept design and 3D sculpting, where I brought to life a futuristic police officer set in a dystopian world. Drawing from my own creative vision, I designed and sculpted this character to embody the challenges of a high-tech, crime-ridden society.

The concept imagines a law enforcement officer tasked with not only combating human criminals but also taking on advanced robotic adversaries and cutting-edge technologies engineered to aid organized crime in their attacks and schemes. The design reflects a blend of gritty realism and futuristic aesthetics, incorporating intricate details in the officer’s armor, gear, and weaponry to emphasize their role in this chaotic world.

This project allowed me to push my artistic boundaries, combining storytelling, character development, and technical expertise in 3D modeling. The final result is a dynamic, visually compelling statue that captures the tension and resilience of a hero standing against the rise of technological threats in a dystopian future.

This project brought to life the dynamic energy of Gambit, the beloved X-Men hero from Marvel Comics. A skilled acrobat and former French thief with a love for poker, Gambit is known for his ability to charge objects with explosive energy, often using playing cards as his weapon of choice. He is rarely seen without his signature metal staff, which aids him in performing impressive acrobatics during combat.

For this statue, I crafted a scene that captures the essence of Gambit's agility and power, set against the backdrop of an epic confrontation with one of the X-Men's most formidable enemies: Juggernaut. Known for his unstoppable strength and the ability to break through anything in his path, Juggernaut serves as the base of this statue, symbolizing the immense challenge Gambit faces.

The sculpt intricately depicts Gambit mid-action, launching his explosive playing cards while poised with his staff, showcasing his signature flair and finesse. This piece combines dynamic movement, attention to detail, and storytelling, bringing the high-stakes battle between these two iconic characters to collectors and fans of the Marvel universe.

To add a touch of realism and familiarity, I chose to model Gambit's face after the famous Hollywood actor Channing Tatum, who appeared in the 2024 films Deadpool and Wolverine. This choice further connects the statue to the cinematic Marvel universe, giving fans an additional layer of immersion and authenticity.

This project was developed for an exclusive group of collectors during the pandemic, envisioned as part of a limited-edition diorama set. Unfortunately, due to internal client issues, the project was not completed. Despite this, it stands out as a testament to the creative and technical challenges involved in bringing to life one of DC Comics' most notorious villains: Deathstroke, also known as The Terminator.

Deathstroke is a mercenary and assassin who serves as the arch-nemesis of the Teen Titans, particularly Dick Grayson. Enhanced by an experimental serum, Slade Wilson possesses superhuman physical and mental attributes, including heightened strength, endurance, agility, reflexes, and the ability to utilize up to 90% of his brain's capacity. This makes him one of the most dangerous and strategic foes in the DC Universe.

The project aimed to create a diorama featuring Deathstroke alongside other iconic characters, including Batman, Nightwing, and Red Hood. Each statue was designed to stand in an attack-ready pose atop the gothic gargoyles that famously adorn the skyline of Gotham City. The detailed sculpting of the statue was intended to emphasize Deathstroke’s lethal precision, combat readiness, and tactical brilliance, capturing the essence of his character.

While the project did not reach completion, the concept and execution reflect the collaborative artistry behind this ambitious diorama, blending dynamic poses, intricate details, and storytelling to bring Gotham's gritty world to life.

This project was commissioned by ATF Collectibles, based on a custom concept featuring the iconic Marvel hero Psylocke, a beloved member of the X-Men. Known for her mutant powers of physical and psychic prowess, Psylocke is as deadly as she is elegant. Her unique abilities include ninja combat skills and telepathic manifestations in the form of a butterfly, a signature element of her power set. She is also the sister of Brian Braddock (Captain Britain) and Jamie Braddock, a reality-warping mutant, and is widely regarded as one of the most stunning X-Women.

For the base of this statue, I chose to depict Psylocke standing triumphantly on the severed hand of a destroyed Sentinel. These colossal robots, infamous in the X-Men stories, were built with the sole purpose of hunting and exterminating mutants. The design added a dramatic narrative to the piece, symbolizing her strength and resilience against those who seek to oppress her kind.

The modeling of the Sentinel's hand presented a unique challenge, requiring detailed hard-surface sculpting to create the intricate machinery, including gears, screws, and connecting cables. This technical complexity was balanced with the organic flow and elegance of Psylocke’s pose, highlighting her grace and power.

The final piece combines dynamic storytelling, meticulous craftsmanship, and an homage to Psylocke's iconic presence in the Marvel Universe, making it a standout addition to any collector's display.
